i think dentists suck…but my teeth ache

i have not been to a dentist in years.  i did go in foster care, but i cant remember going frequently and never had braces… although i was a thumb-sucker until, well, um, um, um … some old age not to be disclosed.  actually in some states, braces are not even covered as expenses for foster children.  since leaving foster care, i have had no dental insurance and while there are community health dental clinics in my city, i would rather shoot myself on most days than goto a dentist.

i hate dentists.   hate them.  here is why

• no control, stuck in a chair

• various hands and objects in my mouth

• mouth pried open

• terrible tastes

• terrible smells

• most are males

my teeth are a wreck and they have been bothering me.   i am an ice chewer and a hard candy chewer and i broke my teeth by doing these activities that dentists dread.  i absolutely love chewing and crunching ice.  i dont know why.  i even have my “favorite” places to get a drink, JUST BECAUSE of the ice.   since i gave up smoking these behaviors have escalated.  one habit dies, one grows…
